Register to participate in a week long summer theatre camp for performance enthusiasts ages 9 to 13 years old! All skill levels are welcomed, and no experience is necessary. 8 Campers will have the opportunity to move through the motions of auditioning for a role, rehearsing parts together as a group through the week and performing for parents and community on Saturday to wrap up the camp week.
Camp runs from 9am to 4pm, August 17th to 22nd, with performance time TBA on August 22nd, 2026. Camp will occur at 1550 Brydges Street in London, Ontario, alongside camps offered by The School of Purpose, a microschool in London.

Hi! I'm Eugene Smalls, but you can call me Gene! I am 17 years old and am a student sat HB Beal SS here in London. I am graduating this June 2026 but am going back next year for one semester, then taking a gap semester. I've also been accepted into Guelph University's Performing Arts program for September 2027! I have been participating in different kinds of theatre (musical, non-musical and Shakespearean) for almost 10 years, and it has been a dream of mine to run a youth drama camp since I was about 11 years old. I want to share with the younger generation what was shared with me when I was a kid; the gift of theatre.

Hello! My name is Azira Martin and I am 18 years old. I currently go to HB Beal SS but by the time you meet me, I will have graduated high school! I am going back for grade 13 to do a full year of the Beal Art Specials Program! After that, I am off to Guelph University for their Creative Arts Health and Wellness program! As for my theatre background, I have been in 10 musical theatre productions throughout my life. My favourite parts that I have played are Donkey in Shrek The Musical, and LeFou in Beauty and the Beast. I am helping run this program because I think that there needs to be more opportunities for youth to express themselves, and what better way to do that than theatre!
Registration
Camp Fees: $257 tax included for the week per camper
Limited to 8 campers total. No experience required.
Bring a packed lunch and refillable water bottle each day.
All personal belongings should be labelled with the camper's name.
Saturday's showtime will be announced on the 19th of August, mid way through this camp.
Step 1: Complete and submit your registration form.
Step 2: Follow the instructions you receive via email from Gene & Azira.
Step 3: Make your payment via etransfer to awytheatre@gmail.com with the password awytheatre
Step 4: Be ready to arrive at camp at 9am August 17th, 2026 for a fun filled week of theatrical fun!
